Como parte del proyecto Cristo: Rey de las naciones, en ésta ocasión se describe la nación de Camboya.
Camboya es un país étnicamente homogéneo, con más de un 90% de población jemer. También en el país viven grupos minoritarios de vietnamitas, chinos, cham y hasta uma treintena de tribus. En este país más del 70% de las personas tienen menos de 25 años.
RELIGIÓN
La religión oficial y la que hace parte de la identidad cultural camboyana contemporánea es el Budismo Theravada. (la doctrina de los antiguos), es la religión del estado. Se ha establecido la libertad de cultos, pero existe una censura a la propaganda religiosa. El budismo es un culto de gran importancia a escala mundial, fundado en el noreste de la India. Se basa en las enseñanzas de Siddhartha Gautama, más conocido como Buda o El Iluminado.
